Sore, so very sore

Good or bad, I think I overdid it a little last week. I am sore today, and I have a head cold. BUT, I like jolting my system back into the groove. I am really going to still try to walk for 20-30 minutes today, at a leisure pace because I want to keep my muscles and joints moving and not stiff. Maybe even some vigorous house cleaning will do it.

I just set up an account on this daily plate website. You can track what you eat and what you burn. My brother and sister both use it and have good things to say (and are both shrinking). From first glance and just entering in yesterdays food/exercise, I can see that it is up my alley.

In the past I have struggled with writing down all I eat because it didn't really tell me anything. I know what I eat! But, seeing all the calories I burned yesterday and all I ate in numbers is pretty shocking. Because I worked out at an intense level twice yesterday, I burned a whole lotta calories. I ate a hamburger and fries, and even though I didn't go over (in fact I am still way under) my daily calories, it is kinda sick to think that I worked that hard to basically burn off a sub-par burger and fries.

hope you aren't limping, and if you have shooting pain or piercing pain, it could be bad, but plain old-fashoned DOMS is normal and there is no real cure other than more exercise
